Trip to The Steel Bridge

June 03, 2017

I live in a first-class municipality in Negros Oriental. In our place, we only have about 3-5 places that we can go and hang-out with our friends. That is why, nature trips are often considered to discover and appreciate our municipality.

I have been asking my boyfriend to drive me down here. You see, we have been visiting again and again the diners and snack bars here and we are running out of money and gaining weight which is not so good. And, finally I persuaded him (yey!). There is actually nothing special about this bridge but it's just that I love its structure. Most of the bridges now in the Philippines are made of concrete that is why you seldom see bridges like this, which is made of steel. Bridges like this one always gives me that "laid-back"' vibes and knowing that we have this kind of bridge here makes me feel that I am a “legit” probinsyana haha.

I haven't taken a picture of the view of the water from above because my boyfriend would not want me to get too close to the railings because what if I might "slip" or I might drop my phone daw. But it is very deep, it can make you feel uneasy.

If you ever pass bridges like this too, take a photo and comment the photo down below. I would love to see it :)

xoxo
