2017 Year-End Review
December 31, 2017
2017 IS FINALLY OUT AND ABOUT...
...and it feels like the last 365 days went on like a breeze, but of course, in reality, it didn't. There are lots of crying, smiling, laughing and "let's get this over with" moments. But whatever those circumstances and situations are, I am so thankful it happened. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Now, allow me to look back at my 2017 New Year's Resolution and see if I had managed to stick to it :P .
1. Exercise Regularly - boom! haha FAILED! I haven't managed to exercise regularly but I have managed to exercise for like once a week or once in every two weeks (???) haha. But on the brighter side, I have finally found a routine that works best for me :) now all I have to do is to be consistent.
2. Eat Healthily - I can say that I have been eating healthily this 2017. Although not always, but I am happy with my improvement because I am not really into veggies. It is better than nothing, right?
3. Save - I have saved a little though because I have responsibilities and bills to pay. I think this coming 2018, my goal would be to find a more stable job and income so that I can really have (or make) a system that will enable me to still fulfill my obligations and at the same time, save the same amount of money every month (or payday).
4. Take a break from social media - this, I haven't done. I am still in a long distance relationship (yaaas) so I just can't haha. Albeit, I have tried taking a break for a good ol' three days and it was one of the best three days of my life :)
5. Learn to cook - YAAAAS. I have learned to cook a few recipes and counting, next year :).
6. Find a hobby - the hobby that I have developed this year is calligraphy, and I am so happy that I really practice hard to be able to do it. It really had proven me that constant practice and dedication will make you do things better (sorry I do not believe in perfection).
7. Travel - I traveled a lot only during the summer and I was thankful for that because it was the first time that I have really enjoyed my summer.
8. Learn a new skill - well, I am not very confident that I had learned a new skill this year haha. I have started doing graphic design though and I have also taken classes in watercolor. A good start, right?
9. Sleep early/Wake up early - wake up early, yes! But sleep early? I failed this. Well, I will definitely try again this 2018.
10. Apply eye cream and moisturizer every day - hmmm, can you suggest a good eye cream? haha, I definitely failed this part, it is so sad. I know, I really have to start doing it already but I haven't really found a good eye cream (reasons *rolls eyes). But the moisturizer part? well, I failed that, too. Geeez, time to step up my game.
How about you? Were you able to stick to your resolutions this 2017? Share your thoughts with me :)
